You will be supporting a child on a 1:1 basis, working on developing the child’s social, emotional and academic skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.The school is happy and successful with the highest standards for children’s education, wellbeing and development. - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Working in KS2
- Supporting a child in and out of the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Supporting with personal care
- Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO
- Full time and long term contract – entire academic year
- £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Person Specification – SEN Teaching Assistant
- Good record of academics – degree, A level, GCSEs
- Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, would be ideal
- Good knowledge of a range of learning barriers including special needs
- A positive, willing and adaptable member of the team
- Compassionate and patient when working with children with SEN
- Holds a registered DBS, or be willing to apply for one ASAP
