Job description
Job Title: SEN TutorSalary:£25 – £30 Per hourJob Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students’ needs and abilities
- Implement educational strategies and techniques to help students achieve academic goals
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
- Valid teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Education:Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant fieldExperience:At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SENKnowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Knowledge of relevant educational policies and regulations
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience working in a school or educational setting
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting
- May require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
