Job description

Job Title: SEN TutorSalary:£25 – £30 Per hourJob Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students’ needs and abilities
  • Implement educational strategies and techniques to help students achieve academic goals
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Education:Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant fieldExperience:At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SENKnowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Knowledge of relevant educational policies and regulations
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting
  • May require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
