  • Provide tailored educational support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students’ needs and abilities
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to engage SEN students in learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN

Education:Degree in Education or relevant fieldExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SEN TutorKnowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours
  • Work in a school or educational setting
  • Potential for remote or in-person tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
