- Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students’ needs
- Implement strategies to support students’ academic progress and achievement
- Monitor and assess students’ progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational NeedsExperience:Prior experience in a similar role working with SEN studentsKnowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support SEN students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Working Conditions:The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work with students in an educational setting and may need to collaborate with teachers and parents to provide comprehensive support.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
