The school has 4 Primary School Sites, 3 Secondary Schools (and two additional 6th Forms) and a large SEND setting that supports pupils with EHCPs across both LAs. The MAT is very proactive and organised so are looking for Elevate Supply to recruit a bank of qualified teachers and support staff to work across all 7 sites on a part-time, full-time and ad-hoc basis. If you are looking for consistent work within one MAT but with the flexibility to choose your work pattern and vary your work life, then this is for you!Recently classed as Outstanding in all Areas, the SEND provision meets the needs of learners with highly Complex Needs including those with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and those with Multi-Sensory Impairments from the age of 3 to 19. To support this wonderful school, Elevate are looking to recruit experienced, enthusiastic and motivated PMLD Teaching Assistants, Youth Support Workers, EduCarers, Specialist Therapists and Qualified SEND Teachers to help cover staff absence and keep pupil ratios in line to support young people to thrive, become effective communicators and achieve social and emotional fulfilment.Requirements:Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover short term and ad-hoc Staff absence in a variety of subject areas, SEND provision age groups and ability ranges. Including pupils with physical needs.
  • Supplement existing Departmental Staff on Specialist Subject Areas
  • Contribute to MAT-wide Teaching & Learning Initiatives
  • Uphold the MAT Ethos at all times
  • Ensure the Safety, Well-being and development of all young people.

Qualifications:

  • Working experience supporting young people in schools or education settings
  • Knowledge of SEND, Intervention and supporting Learning Paths for young people.
  • Ability to cover specialist Subject in One Curriculum Area and Ability to add value and knowledge in an additional Curriculum area where possible.
  • Demonstrable Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, Prevent Duty and Safer Working Practices.
