Location: Stoke ST11
Pay: $400 – £600 (depending on experience)About the Role
Connex Education is working with a fantastic Special Educational Needs (SEND) Primary School in Stoke to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position where you will support children in Key Stages 1 and 2 with a range of additional needs, including Autism.The role involves:
- Supporting pupils’ learning and development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team of educators to make a positive impact on pupils’ education.

To be considered, you should:
- Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either in a school or a similar setting.
- Be confident in managing challenging behavior.
- Be willing to provide personal care, if required.
- Hold a current DBS check on the update service or be prepared to obtain a new one.
