SEND Teaching AssistantWirral£350/£450 per week depending on experienceAbout the role:Connex Education are working with a SEND High School in Wirral who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.About the School:This purpose built SEND School caters for pupils aged between 11 and 19 with a range of complex needs including Autism, PMLD and SLD. The School has 2 sites and provides pupils with a high quality education in a stimulating and highly engaging learning environment.Assignment details:The role will consist of supporting pupils in the ASD department and will commence asap. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm. The role will last until the remainder of the academic year.Benefits of working for Connex Education:

Person specification:

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEND either in a School or residential setting as a support worker.
• Be willing to provide personal care.
• Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
• The ability to build relationships with staff and pupils.
• Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
