The Role

Our Sales team is looking for a Senior Account Executive to build partnerships with some of the world’s most progressive companies. In this role, you’ll be leading an end-to-end consultative sales process from prospecting to close with large enterprise clients (5,000 employees and above). You will speak the language of talent leaders to drive new revenue opportunities and customer growth initiatives. You will also act as a strategic advisor to solve critical business problems using the 10KC platform and suite of best practices to drive engagement and retention goals.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be a leading force that fuels our growing customer relationships – helping organizations create happy, high performing teams through the best mentoring, networking and skills development programs. If you’re passionate about generating, qualifying leads through prospecting new business all the way to the contract execution and have a ‘hunter’ mentality by using innovative sales strategies in a fast-paced, start up environment, we want to meet you!

What you’ll do

  • Build a robust sales pipeline. Prospect, network, and grow relationships with large enterprise HR, Talent and DEI leaders. Through your prospecting efforts you will conduct research, identify key players and stakeholders, and qualify inbound leads to drive new business relationships.
  • Relationship Building. Sustain value-add relationships with key decision makers by becoming a trusted advisor and build strong internal relationships for long-term customer success.
  • Prospect all the way to closing. Actively grow and close pipeline through strategic sales motions. Position, negotiate, and close new business for mid-market to enterprise clients in the North American territory, while concurrently spearheading expansion opportunities with existing clients.
  • Strategic Selling. Develop sales assets, business cases, and client facing materials to support complex enterprise sales processes.
  • Solution Selling / Presentations. Effectively present streamlined solutions and presentations by developing a detailed analysis of customized needs for each customer using 10KC products.
  • Product Expertise: Become a 10KC product expert and assist customers through the selling process by educating, qualifying, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities for 10KC products (Introductions, Office Hours, and Development Programs).
  • Sales Operations. Understand and drive pipeline management, SFDC operations and forecasting.
  • Cross team collaboration. Work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing Teams to ensure that best practices of 10KC are shared and implemented across all sales touch points.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven track record of consistent quota overachievement selling Human Resources (HR), L&D, Talent Management, Employee Experience Technology SaaS to Enterprise Customers (over 5,000 employees). We’re seeking top-tier performers who are driven to surpass expectations.
  • Extensive experience selling SaaS products to enterprise customers in the HR and Talent Management space. You have the depth and confidence to speak with c-level executives (CEOs, CPOs, CDOs, CHROs, HR Leaders) and support their understanding of how to use and implement 10KC products.
  • High level of accountability to maintain prospecting targets, sales process SLAs, and critical individual metric analysis to establish actionable improvement areas.
  • Comfort and adaptability in a high growth start-up to scale-up environment. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings and understand the agility needed to succeed in a software environment.
  • Experience with deal ownership from start to finish, including the successful negotiation of IT, legal, and procurement processes. You are a skilled closer.
  • A strong sense of accountability and the ability to consistently hunt and drive results. You are focused on owning a strong book of business and closing deals, while not sacrificing ethics or 10KC values.
  • Flexibility, a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well with others are crucial to the success of this role.

The base salary range for this role is: $106,000 – $158,000

We believe in paying top-of-market base salaries to foster a high talent density, meaning we aim to attract and retain the very best people in our field. An individual’s base salary is determined by factors including market indicators, geographical location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as evaluated during the recruitment process.
