Manage full cycle accounting for client projects, ensuring compliance with ASPE standards.
Review monthly financial statements and bank draws, providing insights for decision-making.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, highlighting key performance metrics.
Approve journal entries and reconcile accounts, maintaining accuracy and internal controls.
Communicate professionally with external stakeholders, including banks and auditors.
Collaborate with operational teams to gather financial data and support project planning.
Prepare and review tax returns, optimizing tax efficiency and ensuring compliance.
Monitor project cash flow and assist with job cost allocations and analysis.
Develop and document accounting processes, incorporating best practices.
Mentor one direct report and contribute to team meetings and initiatives.
Provide ad hoc financial analyses and support strategic decision-making.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the accounting team and organization.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA designation is a must.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in GAAP principles and financial reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Employment DetailsBenefits: 40 Hours weekly, Permanent, Full-Time, Hybrid/Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
