As a Senior Accountant, Cloud Accounting Services your responsibilities will include:
- Reconcile data from 3rd party applications such as HubDoc, Wagepoint, etc.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements in Quickbooks Online and Xero
- Reconcile and review sales data
- Review accounts receivable/accounts payable and process using 3rd party applications
- Review payroll time entries and process payroll
- Run GST/HST/PST reports, review audit trail and file reports with CRA
- Prepare T4 returns
- Set up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planning and other aspects of cloud accounting work
- Perform/assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
- Perform basic financial analysis
- Prepare basic analytical reports and cash flow statements
- Participate in client discovery calls
- Collaborate with clients on a regular basis
- Train and mentor junior colleagues

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Accountant, Cloud Accounting Services? Like the colour purple? Great. Here’s a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
- A passion for technology and innovative thinking
- Associates degree in business/accounting or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor and/or Xero certification required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to create macros and/or VB scripts in Microsoft Excel preferred
