We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team to manage key finance operations including our accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash management functions.

This role is a part time opportunity, working 28 hours per week, working across 4 or 5 days per week.

The Senior Accountant – Finance Operations will engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels to ensure that our financial processes run efficiently, within agreed performance measures and that people can easily follow them. They will also produce cash forecasts and collate operational data across the business for internal and external reporting.

The position will oversee a small team, so the job holder will be responsible for managing and developing the team. Additionally, this role will deputise for the Financial Controller and the Senior Accountant – Accounting and Tax.

Our ideal applicant will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with recent experience of working within a Financial Controlling and Reporting environment, demonstrable proficiency in the use ERP systems and month end close processes (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP). Previous team leadership experience is required, including the line management of direct reports and employee lifecycles.
