Senior Accountant – Permanent – 17839About the OpportunityOur client in south Ottawa is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.This organization promotes professional development and growth while putting an emphasis on a supportive and collaborative work environment.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• High volume, complex account and credit card reconciliations
• Processing payments, preparing bank deposits
• Posting of journal entries, working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
• Processing payroll as well as tax and WSIB remittances
• Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts
• Production of Financial Statements, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual results including Income Statements, P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management
• Financial reporting and analysis, working closely with Senior Management on business strategies

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
• Proficiency with Yardi software
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (English essential)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
