Our client, an innovative business process and accounting service provider, has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant to join their SW Calgary team. Beginning as a contract role for the busy tax season, the role could be a permanent position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting. A CPA designation is not required but would be an asset. We are seeking someone with a strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in using tax & accounting software systems, and the ability to analyze financial data.

Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Account reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing personal and business tax returns
• Assist with audits
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
