📅 Job Type: [Full-Time/Temporary to PermanentHybrid 1 day a week in officeStart ASAPAbout the RoleMy client is looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and play a key role in managing supplier payments, payroll processing, and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts payable (P2P) experience, keen attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable🔹 Process regular and ad hoc multi-currency payment runs.
🔹 Reconcile supplier accounts and process expense claims.
🔹 Resolve supplier account discrepancies and queries.
🔹 Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.
🔹 Support and mentor the accounts payable assistant.Sales Invoicing🔹 Raise sales invoices and credit notes.
🔹 Send out monthly customer statements.
🔹 Resolve customer invoice queries.Banking & Payroll🔹 Process UK and foreign payroll payments.
🔹 Manage and process DEA/Union payments.Other Duties🔹 Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting.
🔹 Support procurement with supplier negotiations and purchases.What We’re Looking For✔ï¸� Experience: Proven experience in a P2P/Accounts Payable role.
✔� Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
✔� Tech Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred) and MS Excel.
✔� Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing high volumes of transactions.
