Apply now and become an integral part of our visionary team!TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Accounts Receivable Lead in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.ResponsibilitiesLead Accounts Receivable team, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Improve AR processes through automation and workflow enhancements.
Manage credit risk, set credit limits, and oversee collections efforts.
Collaborate with departments to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.
Prepare reports on AR performance and manage month-end close activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain relationships with external partners and stay updated on industry trends.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a reputable university.
Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is highly desirable.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Accounts Receivable.
Proficient in utilizing large ERP systems such as SAP ECC, PeopleSoft, and MSS Oracle.
Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including experience with GAAP and IFRS standards.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and V-Lookups.
Proven track record of successful change management and process improvement initiatives.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a keen analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Employment DetailsSalary: $100k – $140k
Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
