Epsilon commercializes and monetizes custom data signals for targeting within paid media, and this critical role will be responsible for designing the process to ingest and reconcile many disparate inputs of usage data across all enterprise clients, computationally assessing all of the applicable fees per client, and regularly reporting to the business both revenue and performance outcomes from which our strategic decisions are made. Other responsibilities include the utilizing of various reporting and statistical analysis tools, collaborating with finance and accounting to ensure accurate revenue procedures are followed, and developing effective methods for communicating advanced data-driven insights. This role will report to the Senior Director, Activation Revenue – Epsilon Data Partnerships.The primary stakeholders for this position will include Epsilon/Publicis Groupe ExecutiveLeadership, Managing Director of Epsilon Data Platforms, Epsilon Product Leads, Epsilon Data Practice Leads, Epsilon Sales & Account teams, Publicis Groupe central teams, Publicis Groupe agencies, and direct Epsilon clients.Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets using various statistical analytical tools
- Develop and maintain data hygiene processes for the intake of many data feeds to ensure data quality and accurate results
- Utilize Power BI to generate data visualizations that will be used for internal/external communications and strategic decision-making
- Responsible for automation of reporting for a growing multi-million-dollar revenue stream, while improving speed, scale and accuracy
- Management of commercial fees across 50+ global clients through reconciliation of usage across campaigns/platforms, and aligning with finance and accounting on financial accruals, invoicing, and accounts receivables
- Accountable for recognition of all vendor and supplier costs and payments, and providing analysis to assist with future negotiations and cost optimization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage process logistics – including data collection methods, normalizing data structures, and defining business rules, all to enable project execution
- Handle irregularities related to inputs, reporting and invoicing, and proactively identify/resolve potential issues before they occur
- Train internal and external Epsilon platform users related to monthly reconciliation process
- Participate in the presentation of reports to key internal stakeholders, including C-level Epsilon leadership, effectively communicating the steps taken to create the output
- SME to provide input on a regular basis to inform the Epsilon product roadmap to enhance reconciliation and self-reporting automation and improve end user UI experience
- Operate autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 – 3 years of professional experience with data mining, segmentation, and/or predictive modeling using large, marketing or financial databases
- Knowledgeable in advanced financial, statistical, and analytical concepts to interpret performance, identify trends and predict future financial outcomes
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and/or SQL programming
- Experience with data analytics software (e.g. Snowflake or similar)
- Management of data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Working knowledge of MS Office; including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; with advanced skills in Excel
- Strong critical thinking and analytic thought process and ability to interpret findings
- Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Acute attention to detail (QA/QC)
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Professional acumen
