What is the opportunity?
As the Senior Adjudicator, you will review and approve complex client credit applications that require expert knowledge, experience and analysis, relative to risk policy. You will assess the inherent risks while respecting Bank policies and identify exceptions to credit principles, rules and guidelines.
What will you do?
- Develop and manage strong partnerships across the business, collaborating as a trusted advisor
- Leverage solutions in Credit Adjudication to improve the client experience and align to the Canadian Banking Operations Simplification roadmap
- Lead employees of Auto Finance/Cards, promote operational excellence and drive client value
- Support day to day operations, including all types of adjudication/call handling, with a priority on adjudicating complex credit applications
- Act as a leader, to achieve a superior client experience, profitable business growth, business retention and productivity by providing the right decision the first time
- Take ownership to resolve escalated client issues and support strategic changes in Auto Finance/Cards
- Ensure a high degree of client focus, risk balance with quality service standards are established and maintained
- Identify operational and credit risks proactively and escalate critical issues and risks for senior management attention
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Strong credit knowledge and Automotive Finance Adjudication experience
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid experience with conflict management
- Proven ability to “self-manage” and achieve results
- Strong people skills and ability to lead negotiations and make quality credit decisions
- Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and build relationships
- Ability to work shifts within the business hours of 5:30am-8:00pm (PST) Monday to Friday and 6:00am–8:00pm (PST) on Saturdays

- Bilingual in French and English
