About the roleFinding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.We are looking for a Senior Advisor – Business Improvement to provide support to our site’s teams in the form of strategy and tactics, system design, change facilitation, teaching, and coaching of lean tools to surpass our business goals on a sustainable basis while leveraging employee engagement. You will be working closely with various local team members to drive cross-area improvement projects and high-level initiatives.
- Reporting to the Manager, Business Improvement, and working in a collaborative community, you will be responsible for:
- Facilitating and supporting the high-reliability practices and standards to the most important business change initiatives,
- Mentoring and coaching through kaizens that contribute to a step-change in business performance
- Coaching other principal roles in lean, problem solving, kaizen and 6 Sigma
- Working closely with a network of change agents across operations and functions.
- Cultivate and maintains strong operational relationships, building connection among business units
- Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends in performance improvement and change management
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your team
- Relevant manufacturing experience in lean and business improvement,
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and engaging employees,
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization,
- Bachelor or master’s degree, preferred
- Project management / Project Support
- Travel within and outside the US will be required (when safe to do so).
