Purpose
Leads and oversees Commercial Card Department / Global Business Payment in Canada and United States ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout the Commercial Card team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Liaise with business partners in Commercial, Contact Center, Bank Card Security, Chargeback & Accounting department (as required) to maintain open communication to ensure our service levels are provided to our internal and external customers.
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience, respect the service level agreement by de-escalating the issue, taking ownership, and resolving client inquiries to their fulfillments.
  • Contribute to the overall Business objectives of the Commercial Card department by keeping management informed of contentious or volatile situations including significant expose to financial loss and/ or reputational risk. Also, identifying, analyzing and escalating new fraud patterns or operational issues.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Creates an environment where the individual pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Builds a high-performance environment and implements a safe environment for an open communication strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates the individual by fostering an inclusive work environment

  • Experience with TSYS and CentreSuite applications and MS Office suite (Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Flexibility is required.
  • Shift Schedule Monday to Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm EST.
  • French language is an asset.

Work Arrangement:

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
  • No travel required for the mentioned position above
