Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunityIn this role, you will be primarily responsible for the implementation and execution of standardized and centralized processes for NAV Production Teams, with a focus on ensuring accurate delivery of institutional clients’ added value functions and on ensuring integrity of systems and process changes.What will you do?

  • Guide completion of assigned added value functions within SLA (service level agreement) mandates (including but not limited to daily trades processing, cash forecasting and cash management, FOF (Fund of Funds) modeling and trades support, client, vendor and regulatory reporting, transaction management and processing and reconciliation
  • Execute global controls and reporting so that management team has greater governance over departments accountabilities
  • Provide innovative solutions to new client requests and guide and follow through on issue resolution
  • Create, maintain and troubleshoot working templates and adding controls to reduce errors and improve efficiency
  • Liaise with clients and respond to external parties’ inquiries and requests and resolving issues
  • Lead new initiatives and assist Managers in projects
  • Provide back-up relief to team members during absences, including mentoring and coaching analysts
  • Support and execute RPA (robotic process automation) queue manager role to effectively reduce cost operational processes, increase quality of service and ensure accuracy. Suggesting process improvements that result in productivity gains, reduce risk and enhance the client experience

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • 2+ years of experience in an investment funds operations related role, or 2+ years funds industry experience with experience in fund accounting/pricing/client reporting
  • Advanced excel skills with the ability to create complex Templates using advanced formulas, pivot tables and macros
  • Team leadership experience, coaching colleagues, perform independently and desire to work in a team environment, in multiple different capacities
  • Critical thinker focused on deliverables, problem solving & operational improvements
  • Ability to define issues, collect appropriate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Great communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Completion or enrolment in recognized accredited program (CFA, CGA, CMA)
  • Mpower, RPA project management experience
  • Industry related courses (CSC, Derivatives)
