Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Overview of the RoleThe Senior Analyst, Finance is responsible for the preparation, processing, and analysis of financial reports, ensures that accounting related business processes are efficient, and adheres to controls in place to ensure accurate representation of financial information.Salary range: $76,265 to $100,100 ***Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.***How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Preparation of monthly (and quarterly) reports including balance sheet analysis and income statements (e.g. prepaid expenses, variance analysis) for the Canadian division
  • Prepare monthly entries: foreign currency conversion, other G/L expenses, mainly for the administration departments
  • Extract monthly BI reports and perform transaction analysis (e.g. inter-company sales)
  • Assist in the review of financial information as part of the month-end process (e.g. bank reconciliations)
  • Follow up on capital leases and their accounting
  • Assist in the preparation of accounting information for annual external audits and various internal audits
  • Support other administrative departments (e.g. Marketing, Payables)
  • Assist in the preparation of the administration department’s annual budget and the input of the budget into the financial system
  • Perform all other related duties

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • University degree in accounting;
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining or equivalent training;
  • 5 years experience in financial analysis or similar position;
  • Proficiency in Excel;
  • Knowledge of AS/400, SAP/BPC (asset), ProLease, Microstrategy BI;
  • High level of accuracy, organization, analysis and autonomy;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential as the candidate will have to work closely with teams located across Canada;
