  • Employee Experience and Advisory: Provide expert guidance to both managers and employees on the organizational structure management and employee life cycle management / changes and foster an environment of positive employee Experience
  • Talent Management Collaboration: Collaborate and contribute to the design and implementation of training and career development initiatives for the HR Data Management advisors and consultants that align with the Global HR Services Operations direction.
  • Effective HR Information Oversight: Oversee the organization’s HR information systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records, supporting informed decision-making across various HR functions.
  • Insightful Performance Evaluation: Review and assess employee performance through Internal HR Data Management Service Quality process to offer valuable insights that drive employee growth, development, and improved overall team effectiveness.
  • Tailored HR Support (Project and Initiatives): Collaborate with HRBPs to implement customized HR support strategies related to Organization Structure changes that are responsive to the unique needs of different business lines, ensuring alignment with overarching HR goals / HR Data Management practices.
  • Process Enhancement for Project Success: Identify opportunities for enhancing HR processes, supporting project objectives through improved efficiency and effectiveness, and contributing to overall department success.
  • Resolution of Complex Inquiries: Offer expert assistance in resolving intricate employee inquiries while also providing overflow support to maintain smooth HR operations.
  • Adherence Monitoring and Process Oversight: Monitor change processes, ensuring strict adherence to established standards and SLAs, thereby maintaining the integrity and efficiency of HR operations.
  • Operational Improvement Leadership: Drive the identification and implementation of operational enhancements within HR processes, presenting thoughtful recommendations to management to optimize overall HR Data Management team performance.
  • Code of Conduct: Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or pursuing an education in a related field.
  • Strong computer application skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Relevant experience in resolving customer service requests.
  • Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management.
  • Experience in conflict/issue resolution.
