More specifically, this role will be responsible for the development of forecasting models supporting operational and corporate strategy and performance planning.CHALLENGES TO BE METDevelop all models (using advanced Excel and SQL) and Business cases needed to support the team in the performance and strategic planning and ensure alignment with corporate strategy and efficiency/productivity objectives.Collaborate in the deployment of performance measure models to each LOBs. Provide expertise and collaborate with partners to support the design of implementation strategies to meet these performance objectives.Actively participate in the preparation of recommendations concerning adequate performance measurement models, Financing, GTC and Advisory sales incentive programs and related controls for the Financing, GTC and Advisory workforce with a view to enhancing cohesion between field and corporate objectives.Work closely with Finance to build and maintain performance measurement modelling processes and methodology to understand impacts of potential objective and measurement designs.Validate performance results to ensure increased data quality of performance reporting.Review field results to identify performance gaps and to propose and implement an appropriate action plan.Oversee data collection and analysis from internal systems and external sources. Ensure the efficiency and quality of analysis.Prepare interpretations and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders to support informed business decisions on performance monitoring and corrective actions to pursue, if necessary.Continuously look for improvements in operational efficiency for performance and planning scope in order to more effectively increase the impact of the team’s area of responsibility.WHAT WE ARE LOOKINGBachelor’s degree in finance/mathematics /business intelligence/economics/engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience in business intelligence, performance measures, modelling, variable compensation programs and operationsMaster in Business Analytics or related field an assetExcellent knowledge Experience using PowerBI, SQLExcellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and WordStrong financial, problem-solving, detail oriented and data analytical skillsAbility to grasp new concepts quickly, to collate information and to manage ambiguous situations and quickly understand new conceptsAbility to establish relationships and work effectively with both business centre employees and various BDC departmentsStrong ability to work under pressure; excellent organizational skills; and ability to manage time, prioritize and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of Python and R are both an assetInterpersonal skills and ability to effectively obtain information and communicate issues and requests to othersFluently bilingual in French & EnglishProudly one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive and accessible environment where all employees can thrive and feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
