What is the opportunity?
A RBC Dominion Securities branch located in downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Associate to join a Top Tier Executive Council Team.
The team is looking for an Associate to share the responsibility of managing the full suite of client service and administrative needs for their $1B+ book of business. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Associate who will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, can apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to their daily tasks and enjoys the challenge of jumping into a very busy team.
What will you do?
Provide superior service to all client inquiries and requests made in person, on the phone and by email in a timely manner.
Engage in the client onboarding experience including account opening, transfers, online access activation using the COB and Salesforce systems.
Take the lead on all administrative tasks related to managing client households and client cash flow requirements.
Estate processing and disbursement.
Review daily transaction activity to ensure accuracy of previous day’s transaction processing and to maintain knowledge of ongoing client account activity using ClientLink and BTS systems.
Schedule client meetings and prepare all documents for client portfolio review meetings.
Execution and follow-up on all client trading activity as directed by the Portfolio Manager.
Follow-up with clients on outstanding or actionable items.
Provide clients and their Accountants with tax reporting and corporate year-end reporting information as needed.
Actively participate and contribute to weekly team meetings.
Keep up to date on new technology, new processes, attend Value Added Calls as needed.

What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
Superior attention to detail and the ability to prioritize daily tasks
Ability to quickly shift priorities, deliver results, and maintain deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
The ability to take initiative and effectively work independently
Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Knowledge of the firm’s operations, policies and procedures regarding client accounts, including internal control policies and regulatory policies
Nice to Have
Experience working with a discretionary portfolio management team
Undergraduate Degree
