Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.The Senior Bio Processing Scientist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for delivering Tissue-culture production (TCP) related manufacturing in line with customer needs.This position is part of the TCP department located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and will be an onsite role. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.You will be a part of the TCP team and report to the Senior TCP Supervisor responsible for the production and delivery of antibody products. If you thrive in a fast pace role and want to work to build a world-class manufacturing organization—read on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead inventory and Kanban management for TCPActively maintain quality standards in line with the principles of cGMPUse PSP thinking, 5 whys and Non-conformance reportingCo-lead departmental projects as requiredThe essential requirements of the job include:A relevant scientific qualification (BSc/MSc) in a related subject.Relevant experience of working in a FMCG environment or other Tissue-culture based environmentDemonstrated experience of working within the constraints of a regulated industry preferably experience of FDA inspection processes and GMPJoin our winning team today.
