About the role
Are you an experienced Business Administrator with the skills to work autonomously in a fast paced environment?
We have a part time (2 days per week) opportunity for a Senior Business Administrator to join the Children Services Recruitment & Retention Team. The role will be home based with occasional travel to Council sites in East Sussex to assist with events as required.
You will be reporting to and supporting the Strategic lead for Recruitment & Retention in Children Services on a variety of activities related to Recruitment, Retention and Marketing.
The job will involve supporting the Recruitment team to arrange and coordinate recruitment events, Assist the team in delivering marketing and promotional activities, including liaising with external suppliers. Keeping detailed records and producing reports of activities undertaken. For more information, please read the Job description attached.
The role will be varied and diverse with key responsibilities including: Taking minutes of meetings, producing reports, assisting with general administrative duties.
There will be an opportunity to get involved with varied projects and make a measurable difference and to develop your own skills as required.
This role will suit someone who understands the need to liaise with a variety of people across the council to be able to drive forward key bits of work.
We will be shortlisting for interview based upon:
- Experience working as an administrator.
- Knowledge of using IT systems with a particular focus on Microsoft suite.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
