OverviewAre you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving operational excellence? Join our Enterprise Data Strategy & Services team as a Senior Business Advisor, where you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization. In this role, you will provide confidential advice and guidance to senior management on key operations and strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise in data, measurement, and experimental design to enhance business processes and implementation plans. Your insights will not only influence decision-making and problem-solving but also identify opportunities to increase operational effectiveness across the board. You’ll also make a significant impact and help the organization navigate the complexities of business process change.The opportunity includes two vacancies. Each of those vacancies will report to either the Manager, Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance or the Manager, Enterprise Measurement & Experimentation.How you’ll make a difference: You’ll drive improvements to data, measurement, and impact assessment processes that will improve our organization’s ability to maximize the benefits we create for the workers and employers of B.C.Where you’ll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, you’ll work primarily from our Richmond office, with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.What you’ll do

  • Advise leadership on data, measurement, and experimentation related business process improvement initiatives, including research into the implementation and its impacts.
  • Facilitate strategic business planning discussions and provide guidance on implementing strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate business improvement options, project viability, and economic implications through business case analysis and feasibility assessments.
  • Conduct comprehensive program reviews to identify operational efficiencies, financial inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization and automation, with a core focus on improving key data, measurement, and experimentation related processes, outputs, and outcomes.

  • Lead and support cross-functional teams with project related activities.

Your background and experience

  • A master’s degree or designation in a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of related experience including experience in:
  • analytical and root cause analysis
  • strategy development
  • performance measurement
  • Experimental design and execution experience
  • Process design and related change management experience
  • Consulting experience is highly desirable.
