Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?The Enterprise Risk Governance & Reporting team under the Enterprise Risk Management is hiring a Senior Business Analyst. Working closely with the business and report owners, the Senior Business Analyst is a problem solver who can understand credit risk business requirements and act as a bridge between business and technology teams and translate business requirements into solution designs and deliverables. This includes target state planning, maintaining current and target state documentation, maintaining business and system context diagrams, maintaining process flow diagrams, data querying and analysis, root cause analysis and resolution.We’re looking for a talented and passionate BA with an engineering and problem solving mind-set who can work in an agile environment and deliver highly effective solutions tailored to the business teams’ needs.   • Elicit, analyze and understand business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions
  • Work closely in agile teams to ensure successful implementations of business solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and assist in defining product roadmaps, maintaining product backlogs and defining release cadences
  • Profile and analyze data by using SQL / Python (including Pandas) on a variety of relational database platforms and data lakes to validate assumptions and resolve issues
  • Proactively raise issues to product owners and IT partners as required
  • Ensure solution designs and implementations of new system capabilities align and adhere to enterprise risk policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Create and maintain user and system documentation
  • Participate in the definition and execution of testing strategies and plans
  • Design, code and maintain Tableau Reports
  • Design, code and maintain data and reporting solutions using SQL / Python / Pandas

What do you need to succeed?Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Finance, or other related degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with financial risk management, credit risk, and respective financial products
  • Strong knowledge of data concepts, data management, data modelling, data mapping, data migration and data governance
  • Ability to write, understand and maintain complex SQL queries
  • Proven experience developing data solutions using Python and Pandas
  • Working knowledge of creating Tableau dashboard reports
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills; detail oriented
  • Self-driven, highly motivated and results oriented
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Quick and thorough learner and outstanding team player

Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or other related degree
  • 2–4 years’ experience working with financial product lifecycle data
  • Experience working to with productivity tools like CoPilot, Jupyter, GitHub, Airflow, Jira and Confluence
