They will be expected to provide input andrecommendations to IT resources on functional system requirements and act as a validation andquality assurance professional across the different stages of the Testing lifecycle as it relates to allOrder to Cash (OTC) functions. They will be expected to provide input and recommendations to ITresources on functional system requirements and act as a validation and quality assuranceprofessional across the different stages of the Testing lifecycle as it relates to all Order to Cash (OTC)functions.In addition, the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting all OTC functions inensuring complete analytical and testing coverage of all system implementations that impact theOrder to Cash process in all lines of business. They will be required to support the stabilizationactivities and issue resolutions of OTC as well as be the Subject Matter expert within OTC.This is an expanding role that encompasses a broader scope of responsibilities supporting allfunctions within the order to cash space and will be cross functional in nature. This role will beexpected to be an independent, objective oversight of the Order to Cash end to end process, helpingdeliver key findings and recommendations to functional owners, along with identifying areas ofopportunities for enhancements that continuously drive process and systematic improvements.Key Accountabilities:
- Supports long-term ERP Roadmap aimed at transforming our business processes specifically in the Order to Cash process
- Assist with the completion of detailed scope and business requirements
- Responsible for all of testing activities within Order to Cash: Develop business requirements, read and understand all functional requirement documents and understand testing scope, develop test scripts, prioritize testing activities, execute all test scripts and report defects, define severity and priority of defects, carry out regression testing every time changes are made to code to fix defects
- Functional expert and lead hand for all order to cash functions acting in a leadership capacity
- Provide support to the order to cash functions and review processes regularly to implement adequate controls, identify gaps and suggest areas for process improvements
- Act as testing and process lead for the Order to Cash team responsible for coaching and training other team members including providing functional advice and process recommendations to other team members
- Work with team members to help identify areas for technical skill development
- Onboard new team members
- Provide leadership and guidance in the Lean and Continuous Improvement transformation
- Facilitates continuous improvement project teams to improve processes and give support to areas within order to cash
- Leads employees through workshops designed to improve work processes to reduce cycle and process time
- Facilitate 5-S and KAIZEN Lean events
- Process billing errors and manage error handling processes
Technical Knowledge Requirements:This position requires intimate knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Outlook. Ability to perform complex formulas in excel and create pivot tables. This role also requires knowledge in:
- Structuring of process and controls
- Developing monitoring criteria and systems
- Effective communication
- Facilitating and leading change Management
- Process improvement, Lean, Six sigma
Education & Training:Equivalent to University Graduation in General Courses – Business Administration or AccountingRecognized diploma or Certification related to Business/System Analytics or Testing Analytics. Developed proficiency of Microsoft Office and SAP FI/CO is essential. Knowledge of GAAP principles an asset.Experience:Over 4 years and including 5 years (generally progressive experience)Ability to multi-task and analyze complex billing data with minimal direction. Leadership qualities, needs to be an independent thinker. Previous experience testing on SAP BRIM and FICA an asset.POSTING DETAILS
