We are seeking a highly skilled Business Management Associate to join our dynamic team in Halifax. The purpose of this role is to lead key business management activities and portfolio governance for the Data & Analytics Technology group within QTS. This position will serve as a primary-point-of-contact for financial and program related questions as well as overall inquiries for the Data & Analytics portfolio that includes client, banking, digital and data compute/fabric technology.What will you do?Responsible for monitoring the financial management, reporting, and analytics for the Data & Analytics Portfolio.Involvement in Fiscal year planning processes with support to development of financial demands in alignment with portfolio strategyEstablish streamlined program governance & control for Data & Analytics Portfolio inclusive of strategic content.Work with leads to facilitate and the provision of timely and insightful performance data that supports strategy execution.Resource tracking and headcount management inclusive of onboarding and off boarding.Work internally with the team to build a collaborative culture that drives continuous improvement and technology innovation, constructively challenging outdated and inefficient practices.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveUniversity degree or equivalent with 2+ years in a coordination role supporting operationsStrong experiences in budget management, forecasting and financial models.Very strong analytical and presentation skills, with excellent grasp of PowerPoint / excel / word and ability to distil large quantities of information into key themes / issues.Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to work with senior teams and ability to interact at all levels of the organization.Be able to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders and willingness to go the ‘extra-mile’.Ability to work independently, multi-task, filter information and prioritize multiple demands.Nice-to-haveAccounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or MBA.Direct experience with clients or supporting client facing teams with top-line revenue accountabilities.Project management and delivery for executive stakeholders.Experience with Capital Markets business and knowledge base of technology implementation.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
