Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Shareholder Services is responsible for maintaining the records for investors of various Investment Companies that offer investments such as Pooled Funds, Link Notes, Hedge Funds, Asset Allocations and Mutual Funds. Along with maintaining records, reporting is provided to unit-holders, all in accordance with government policies, tax laws and national policies.This a great opportunity where you will learn the business requirements and processes of new clients and existing clients on the Record Keeping system, Unitrax in Shareholder Services. You will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and bridging the gaps between the clients and RBC IS teams to solution the client’s needs through project execution and various enhancements.What will you do?Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.Develops proposals for small to medium projects.Leads detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.Assesses researches, analyses and documents sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle deliverables utilizing reporting tools, requirements. Identifies tracks and resolves business systems issues.Recommends business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.To research the business requirements to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of recordkeeping systemsParticipate in projects as recordkeeping subject matter expert.Provide support and/or training to the end product user when required including creation and execution of Desk Operating ProceduresInteract with system support staff to review test results and relay install documentation to the end system users.Review existing process flows to find efficiencies and opportunities for automation where possible.Participate in QC checks of new fund setup.Participate Fundserv ESG releasesAct as an internal resource expert within team to share knowledge and provide support on projects, including testing and analysis.What do you need to succeed?Must-have3-5 Years experience on the Unitrax recordkeeping systemPrevious Fund experienceBusiness Analysis ExperienceMust possess excellent communications (written & oral) skillsStrong working knowledge of PC applications such as Word, ExcelWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
