They have gone through a phase of growth and improvement recently and are looking to expand their nursing team due to an increase in occupancy.They now have an opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join their medium sized residential home in Chester-le-Street. The home has an excellent reputation in the local area with consistently high occupancy levels and a driven and motivated team who are passionate about elderly careThe CandidateAs Senior Care Assistant, you will oversee the home alongside a Care Assistants delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents. You will have a caring and kind nature with natural empathy and a willingness to help others.This is a permanent position, working either 3 nights one week, and 4 nights the next with a shift pattern of 19:45 – 08:00 which include both paid breaks and handover time.RequirementsNVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Essential) though NVQ Level 3 preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPrevious experience working in elderly care / care home settingRecommendationsCompass Associates Ltd is acting as a Recruitment Consultant for this permanent vacancy.
