Job description
The Senior Client Accountant will be responsible for financial control and reporting of clients portfolios and monies. You will be responsible for a team of 3, managing one of the companies most prestigious accounts.The Senior Client Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare periodic reports for clients
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of client reports (VAT, client statements)
- Manage specific communication between your line manager, Surveyor, Central Finance for your clients
- Maintain professional working relationships with clients
- Update annual service charge budgets
- Manage and maintain the service charge funds to each property under remit
- Ensure that cash-flow/funding for each property service charge is adequate
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Provide expert financial advice to clients and senior management.
Global Real Estate Firm |£45,000 – £50,000, City of London, HybridA successful Senior Client Accountant should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry, managing a commercial portfolio
- Experience preparing VAT returns and filings
- Experience managing service charge, end to end
- An in-depth understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Exceptional client relationship management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
