Industrial businesses are going through a major change driven by the energy transition as we move from the world of hydrocarbons to renewables and other energy sources. In Operations Transformation, our rapidly growing community of ER&I professionals are responding to complex market challenges, to maximise business potential across the full spectrum of the ER&I industry.We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Delivering/designing operating models and identifying areas of innovation/operational improvement within existing operating models
- Leading small project teams and/or components of engagements on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Leading key activities in the development of Business cases and cost efficiencies to deliver sustainable cost savings in collaboration with clients
- Contributing to the development of approaches and activities to shape recommendations for our clients
- Evaluating and using emerging and innovative technologies or ways of thinking to shape strategy; design operating models, principles and roadmaps; and deliver transformation
- Developing relationships across a broad range of stakeholder groups within the firm and at clients
- Organising insights to define a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations
- Evaluating and using emerging and innovative technologies or ways of thinking to shape strategy; design operating models, principles and roadmaps; and deliver transformation
Connect to your skills and professional experienceWe are looking for people to join our team who embrace change and bring us ever greater breadth and depth of expertise. The quality of our technical skills is enhanced through our practical knowledge of implementation and our ability to learn from each other.Proven, deep industry knowledge of the dynamics/ trends in a minimum of one of the following:
- Energy & Chemicals
- Power, Utilities & Renewables
- Mining & Metals
- Industrial Products & Construction
Experience leading transformation projects or programmes with the aim of delivering any of the following:
- Energy transition
- Supply chain transformation / automation
- Decarbonisation and/or NetZero
- Regulatory compliance
- Service delivery and pricing
- Physical Infrastructure deployment
- Experience analysing and manipulating large cost data sets to identify cost-saving opportunities, and/or developing large-scale financial business cases (using MS Excel or ANAPLAN)
- Experience working in a Finance ore Reporting function, and/or holding management or financial accounting qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CFA)
- Previous consulting experience, whether at another consultant, as a contractor or in-house, is ideal but not essential
