As a Senior Demand Planner you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your role will include developing the Clyde Submarine Engineering demand plan, ensuring development and capture of all underlying assumptions and provide a reporting function to support corporate decision making.Day-to-day, you’ll maintain the integrated Business Plan (IBP) for Clyde Submarine Engineering using data provided by the Royal Navy, analysis of historical trends and inputs from senior management strategy plans.
- Provide demand data for contract bids, tactical lookaheads, Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and the wider business as required.
- Provision of a resource and cost loaded schedule overlaid with supply assumptions.
- Liaising with other site IBP leads to ensure a coherent programme view and to share best practice
- Being aware of, and ensuring that, health safety and environmental requirements are implemented.
- Assisting with the maintenance and improvement in quantity standards of outputs.
- Interfaces with functional leadership team, project controls team, project managers and more
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and hybrid working with three days based on site at Faslane and two from home.Essential experience of the Senior Demand Planner
- Experience within a planning/programme management environment.
- Highly numerate and analytical with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of Programs (Especially MS Excel and Power BI).
- Highly numerate and analytical with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience of working with senior management
- Experience in the use of Primavera P6 will be beneficial but not essential.
