Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will be involved in implementing SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation and Response) platform, as we integrate with new products, transitioning from old products to new, and will fix integrations and critical issues as they are raised. But you don’t wait for them to be raised, you’ll seek them out, too. This is a very technical role that will require you to take lead on challenging tasks and problem solve. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced security technologies, while developing solutions to automate and enhance security operations.What will you do?Integrate and configure automations on Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) platform, leading the team through technical implementations.Refine and translate complex business requirements and execute best practice solutions & document automations.Design solutions, write code, perform unit testing, develop appropriate artifacts /documentation, and facilitate final delivery.Support environment and application issues, exercising judgement and independently troubleshooting, diagnosis, root-cause analysis.Communicate effectively in crisis situations with all levels of an organization from Engineering/Operations to Senior Management & Interact with Security and IT technologies.Recommend or automate approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes and/or systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations while collaborating with the team.What do you need to succeed?Must Have:Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell as well as Bash scripting.Strong understanding of security tools such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, EDR, XDR etc.Excellent verbal & written communications skills, with ability to explain complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, concise, and succinct messages to a variety of audiences that instigate appropriate actions.Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and remediate technical issues.Knowledge of software development best practices, including code standards, reviews, and testing methodologies.Strong understanding of IT security concepts and practices, and demonstrative experience of automating related workflows.Experience in utilizing CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions) to automate, build, test and deploy processes, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery.Demonstrated skills of Microsoft Office, Lucid/Gliffy, Jira, Confluence.Nice to Have:Master’s degree or 3-year diploma in one of the following: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a Technology related field.Proven expertise supporting SOAR platform.Cybersecurity related certifications from recognized organizations such as ISC2, CompTia or others.Previous experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC)Previous experience implementing SRE best practices and working with system monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or Prometheus.Previous experience with Security Information and Event Management tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel etc.Previous experience with public and private cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
