Location: King’s Cross, London (Hybrid Working)Are you ready to join a team passionate about driving business performance and making an impact? NewDay’s Credit FP&A team partners across all areas of the business – Products & Channels, Credit Risk, Treasury, and Business Development – to ensure that the business is strategically aligned. We drive NewDay’s performance through weekly and monthly forecasts, as well as the annual budgeting process, and we’re looking for a Senior Specialist to join us!The Role
As Senior Specialist in Commercial Forecasting & Analysis, you’ll partner closely with our embedded finance programmes and point-of-sale lending partners to deliver value for our business and partnerships. You’ll play a key role in delivering detailed forecasts, scenario analyses, and performance insights that support strategic decision-making across the business.Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to drive performance for our white-label finance programmes, including AO.com and Lloyds Banking Group.
  • Delivering forecasting support and scenario analysis for our merchant partnerships.
  • Conducting financial cohort analysis and maintaining governance documentation.
  • Collaborating across Credit FP&A and Finance teams to highlight emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Presenting comprehensive 5-year forecast packs to senior management for strategy and budgeting.
  • Developing monthly outlooks to monitor performance against plan delivery.
  • Providing insightful performance reporting for our partners, identifying value capture opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A professional accounting qualification.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, including basic macros/VBA.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with relentless curiosity and a drive to improve continuously.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in financial services, retail banking, or consumer lending.
  • Familiarity with Anaplan or similar forecasting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of balance sheet and revenue modelling.
