The Budget and Financial Analyst will work closely with the Director of FP& A to support the financial needs and goals of the business. Senior Financial Analyst will develop tools and use effective communication to guide and support operational managers on key strategic directives. The Senior Financial Analyst opportunity is a long term contract with strong potential for permanent placement.This role is located in Markham, Ontario.– Assists with preparing and monitoring the budget and forecasting process– Participate in developing and implementing budget objectives, procedures, methodologies,guidelines, and submission formats– Assist with the design and standardization of various financial and KPI reports across theorganization– Review financial and non-financial information to ensure data integrity– Ensure deadlines are met to provide the information required for month and year endprocedures.– Prepare KPI’s and assist management with the analysis and recommend corrective actions.– Lead other relevant projects as assigned and required.Minimum three (3) years of related and/or leadership experience.– Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in Accounting and Finance– Designated CPA is preferred– Prior work experience with data modeling, budgeting methods and procedures– Expert knowledge in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel (including Macros, Pivot Tables,Lookup, Power Query and Data Analysis functions)– Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills– Ability to organize and prioritize work while meeting stringent deadlines– Requires a sound knowledge of standard accounting and budgeting principles– Must possess proven research, analytical and problem-solving skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
