Responsibilities
Reporting to, and supporting the Controller, your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Perform daily accounting activities and update management reports
- Perform various daily bank transactions including bank wires and inter-account transfers
- Prepare bank reconciliations and lead-sheet analysis
- Record journal entries and related reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of subsidiary financial reports
- Provide assistance with the preparation of the annual budget
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of the general ledger control accounts against sub-ledgers or supporting schedules
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns
- Assist with the preparation of the annual external audit
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned as well as ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications
- Collaborative team player with excellent oral, written and listening skills
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
- CPA designation is highly preferred or pursuant of
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities
