Senior Fund Accountant- Venture Capital & Fund Management Companies

The principal responsibility for the role is to assist in the servicing of our Venture Capital fund/mgt co administration clients.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fund/mgt co. accounting and investor servicing for VC clients
  • US GAAP reporting for investment companies/funds
  • Production of Financial Statements and Investor communications
  • Assist in the management of the NAV preparation
  • Ensuring adherence to documented procedures and policies
  • Working on ad hoc internal and global projects (as required)

 

Skills Required:

  • A background in accounting or finance (a professional accounting qualification is considered a plus) with 2-3 years’ experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative consistently producing accurate and timely work
  • A high degree of commercial awareness and client service focus
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other divisions of the bank and professional intermediaries
  • Strong IT/Excel skills
  • Experience using eFront, Investran, Allvue, Bill.com or Expensify considered a plus
