Mission

The senior equity thematic fund manager is responsible for managing investment funds, developing investment strategies, and delivering strong investment performance.

Candriam is looking to hire an experienced “generalist” equity thematic fund manager who can further develop broader thematic funds and non-thematic global funds.

This role requires extensive experience in investment management, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to guide investment teams.

Responsibilities

• The senior equity thematic fund manager will be lead manager of a specific fund worth over AUM 1.5 billion euros, and of several global thematic funds managed for distribution partners;
• He/She will formulate and execute his/her own convictions but also capitalize on the research done by the full thematic team (more than 20 professionals), and in turn make sure information flows towards the team;
• He/She will assess the feasibility of new global product ideas and eventually help finalize them.

Profile

• Prior senior experience as Global Equity Fund Manager;
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering;
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment theories;
• Sound experience in fundamental financial analysis;
• Proven track record of successful investment performance;
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends;
• Passionate about ESG/Sustainable investment;
• Team spirit, cooperative mindset;
• Good IT skills.
