Siemens Healthineers are seeking a delivery focussed Senior Healthcare Consultant to join our Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I) Healthcare Consulting team. This is a full-time role, managing hands-on delivery of Productivity & Clinical Strategy consulting as a value-added service for our healthcare customers.

This role would suit an experienced healthcare consulting professional with an NHS background, who is motivated to be part of growing the consulting service within our global medical technology business.

You will have a talent for implementing complex changes ‘on the ground’ in healthcare as a trusted consultancy partner. You will have a strong track record of delivering healthcare consulting assignments in a recognised healthcare consultancy business, including management of successful assignment teams. You will excel in senior and frontline customer relationship management, with a diverse consulting toolkit and a strong focus on improving healthcare for staff and patients.

A flexible base within England and a generous package are offered.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Support the Principal Consultant in designing and delivering multi-stranded Productivity and / or Clinical Strategy consulting to services where our medical technology is utilised.
  • Provide day-to-day assignment management, on behalf of the Principal Consultant, to formulate, sell and deliver consulting programmes on time, within budget and in line with customer needs.
  • Support business development and ongoing development of our customer relationships; working in partnership with Sales, Operations and Consulting colleagues as part of our Regional Account Teams.
  • Support the Head of Consulting with the growth of the GB&I consulting service as we look to develop our team, our profile and our offerings to customers. This includes leading by example and sharing expertise with our wider team and business.

In addition to recent commercial consulting experience and an NHS background, you will also require the following to apply for this role:

  • Extensive experience of planning and implementing change programmes in hospitalsacross provider collaboratives / networks. This must include, but not be limited to, Radiology and Cardiology.
  • An exceptional professional consulting mindset and diverse consulting toolkit in the areas of Hospital Productivity and Clinical Strategy.
  • Master’s degree Level or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development as a consultant.
  • Experience managing the inputs of other colleagues as the assignment manager for consulting engagements.
  • Be naturally collaborative and enjoy working with a large number of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project management qualification (e.g. Agile, Prince2) and preferably also a programme management qualification (e.g. MSP).
