Our Role

We are hiring a Senior People Partnership Manager on a 10-month maternity FTC to support the Head Office Human Resource function

As the Senior Manager of the People Partnership team, this role will lead the People Partnership (Human Resource) team assuming responsibility for people business partnership across all business areas (Head Office, Retail, and Contact Centre). The role will focus on building key relationships across all levels of the business (with particular focus on our Senior Leadership Team) to guide and influence better people-focused business decisions in all areas of people management.

The role acts as a key interface between all People Team areas (Talent Acquisition, Comms and Engagement, Pay and Reward, and L&D) and business partners, aiming to drive and align all communications, projects, and initiatives.

The role also takes ownership and accountability for driving our People Partnership strategy in employee relations, reward, organisational design, and people insight ensuring all areas are aligned to business strategy and support organisational growth.

What you’ll be doing

People Partnership

  • Accountable for building and sustaining strong, credible and commercially focussed relationships with business partners and ensuring the People Advisors within your team do the same
  • Develop and maintain a ‘people partnership’ philosophy and operating model to ensure the people team are seen as trusted advisors across all levels of the business
  • Challenge and coach partners in making the best people focussed business decisions they can
  • Coach, train and support stakeholders to ensure they are equipped to manage their teams in the best possible way and in line with TWC values and culture
  • Accountable for the effective delivery of a high performing people support ensuring that the high standards within the team are developed and maintained
  • Play an active role in setting the tone and sense of TWC values and culture and the way we do things

Insight

  • Own people related analytics, metrics and insight delivery within all areas of the business
  • Oversee the production of our People Business Plans that include people data metrics, that are visually striking and engaging, tell a story and are aligned to the people strategy
  • Lead an approach that facilitates meaningful and impactful conversations with business partners to guide better business and people focused decisions

Organisation Design

  • Shaping TWC Organisation Design strategy and philosophy including OD principles
  • Develop and own a regular organisation design review process that considers organisation wide structures, resources and design in line with business and department strategies, trading performance and cultural considerations

Employee Relations

  • Lead the development of a coherent ER strategy that boosts employee engagement, participation and involvement
  • Be a strong point of contact between the People Team and legal advisors, Shoosmiths
  • Be accountable for all case management across the business

Reward

  • Lead the development of a reward strategy that is aligned to the business strategy and supports our growth goals
  • Responsible for overseeing an approach to salary benchmarking that ensures our salaries remain competitive in the market place

Team

  • Lead the People Partnership team to ensure that all members are operating a ‘one team’ mentality, bringing all channels together to operate in a complimentary and consistent way
  • Work through the team to deliver people projects and initiatives calling on team members to step out of their comfort zones
  • Adopt a coaching style of management to drive continuous learning and development of the team, setting the team up for success

  • Being great with systems – definitely Microsoft Office but it would be a definite advantage to have the ability to quickly grasp new and innovative solutions

  • Creating an external network to support your own ongoing development and growth and to understand the external market
