The role is based near the historic city of Salisbury, at their headquarters on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced offshore surveyor to take on additional responsibilities in a managerial capacity.Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking a technical lead on vessel mobilisation, data capture, processing, and reporting
  • Managing hydrographic survey projects, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish
  • Supporting the operations manager in the general running and delivery of all hydrographic survey services
  • Contributing to business development activities and financial reporting at the project level
  • Assisting the managing director with pursuing technical excellence and growth in the hydrography department
  • Overseeing and mentoring technical staff to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Balancing fieldwork with office-based tasks to support overall project needs

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the field of hydrography and geophysical surveying
  • Proven offshore surveyor skills with a background in technical operations
  • Competence in project management and excellent communication abilities
  • Understanding of business development activities and financial project reporting
  • A relevant degree in surveying or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Willingness to relocate within commuting distance to the head office, if necessary
