Job SummaryThe role involves conducting and leading complex, confidential, cross platform investigations with a particular focus on asset recovery and loss prevention as well as intelligence gathering and identification of offenders.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The role involves conducting and leading complex, confidential, cross platform investigations with a particular focus on asset recovery and loss prevention as well as intelligence gathering and identification of offenders.What will you do?
- Preparing legal and investigation documentation; presenting findings and making recommendations to management.
- Participating in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Analyzing all evidence, looking for possible fraud, and conducting ongoing investigations.
- Develop and maintain a network of internal partners and external peers in the industry to gather information, detect, prevent and investigate criminal activity against RBC.
What do you need to succeed?Must have
- Effective and strong written and oral communication skills
- University degree or equivalent lifetime skill experience
- Proven report writing skills
- Experience in gathering and preserving evidence and presenting the evidence before the courts
- Able to lead by example through provision of knowledge, cooperation and teamwork.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Products ex: Excel, Word, Power Point
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial crime investigation/audit
Nice to have
- Knowledge of banking processes
- Multi-lingual
- Experience with computer technology
- Experience with Open Source and Threat intelligence tools, techniques and sources
