Overview
Compass Associates are very excited to working with a Leading Private Healthcare Provider on the search for a Senior ITU Nurse to join their Brand-New Hospital in Birmingham. This £100 million, purpose built, state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital will be a new private & NHS partnered hospital, providing high levels of care to patients. The hospital will provide care of all levels of clinical complexity, including cardiology, cancer and complex surgeries.
The Candidate / Position
As a senior staff nurse you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be able to provide clinical leadership, act as a mentor and role model, manage complex patient care, and lead the six-bedded critical care unit in the absence of the Ward Manager. You will support individuals and teams to deliver safe, compassionate, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients and their families
Minimum Requirements
- Registered nurse with NMC pin
- Critical care course (minimum 30 credits)
- At least 2 years’ experience in ITU
- Salary & Benefits
- This position is paying up to £43,000 per annum + 4% enhancement for working occasional Saturdays.
