Hours: Full time or Part-time hours considered up to a maximum of 1 FTE.Requests for options will be considered (subject to business need).Applications must be received by midnight of the closing date.Expected Interview date: May 2024Expected start date: no later than September 2024The Department of Accounting and Finance is looking to recruit full-time faculty members at the Senior Lecturer level in the area of Finance. The positions are open ended, and the Senior Lecturer is equivalent to Associate Professor in other countries. A specialism in Financial Econometrics, Big Data in Finance, Machine Learning in Finance is desirable but not essential.We are looking for individuals with an exciting research agenda that either complements or adds to the interests of our current faculty. The Finance Group has three existing research groups, , , and Sustainable Accounting, Finance and Economics (SAFE), focusing on topics such as company finance in both public and private companies, venture capital, financial markets, derivatives, risk management, cryptocurrencies, sustainable finance, climate finance. The Accounting Group has existing expertise in the area of accountability, performance management, governance, accounting in public sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), accounting in emerging economies, and public-private-NGO partnerships.Our school prefers quality over quantity.
