Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Manager to join RBC’s Accessibility Office to lead key programs that promote disability inclusion across our organization. In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization to ensure that our accessibility efforts are aligned with our overall strategic priorities. You’ll help us stay true to the commitments we’ve made to create a more inclusive and accessible environment for both employees and clients. You will ensure that our programs meet legal requirements while also finding new ways to enhance accessibility and stay ahead of emerging trends.What will you do?

  • Lead the planning and execution of accessibility programs that align with our enterprise strategic priorities and support our organizational commitments.
  • Ensure we are meeting accessibility laws and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Develop and run programs that raise awareness and educate the organization on accessibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to identify and implement best practices to enhance accessibility.
  • Find innovative ways to evolve our policies, programs and services.
  • Partner with leaders in different groups to make sure accessibility is integrated into our daily work.
  • Stay up to date on the latest accessibility trends and recommend new solutions.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of our accessibility programs and suggest improvements.

  • Ability to advocate for accessibility and disability inclusion, and challenge the status quo with an understanding of best practices and a curiosity and openness for continuous learning.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire change across the organization.
