What You’ll Do
- Has in-depth Loan IQ system knowledge and experience. Maintain updated business knowledge of corporate lending operations and industry conventions. Solid understanding of GWO Lending Services business goals, and how that aligns to the department’s/Bank’s strategic initiatives.
- Support the GWO team in successful execution of daily “run the bank” and strategic “change the bank” priorities in compliance with governing regulations, policies, procedures, and global operating model.
- Liaise with internal business and technology teams, Loan IQ vendor (Finastra) support teams for all user issue resolutions in a timely manner.
- Responsible for developing, building, and deploying continuous Loan IQ user experience improvements. Represents product governance of Loan IQ system and the global operating model to GWO.
- Understand operational controls and regulatory reporting requirements and ensuring the functional deployment of Loan IQ is compliant to control requirements.
- Review system metrics, KRI/KPI reports to identify user experience issues and follow through with the vendor and internal teams for resolution.
- Responsible for supporting the design, build and deployment of end-user reports using Loan IQ Data net, Power BI and/or other reporting tools.
- Manage successful UAT testing, system change/upgrade planning and deployment.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams within GWO, Regulatory & Business Initiatives Group, Finance, Credit Administration and Technology to support stakeholder management.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Degree holder of any field preferably in Banking and Finance
- Experience: Solid knowledge and experience with Finastra’s Loan IQ loan system. Operational experience and knowledge of other loan systems, SWIFT payments, accounting, cash reconciliation operations, reporting tools such as Loan IQ Datanet, IBM Cognos, Power BI. Knowledge of Trade Finance products and systems is also preferred.
- The job holder is required to have the breadth & depth job knowledge to support Loan processing, covering both the diverse range of customers/types of loans.
Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
