Job SummaryJob DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Business Analysts that supports Digital projects. You will be responsible to manage BA resource allocation and to provide oversight across all projects within the group. You will be accountable to build the capabilities of the BA team by identifying, recruiting, and retaining talent, and by mentoring and coaching BAs.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Partner with the Portfolio Management to understand business strategies and support resource planning activitiesEnsure quality of the requirement deliverables and requirements estimates produced by the teamApply process-driven recruitment practices to facilitate BA team staffing selection including identifying position requirements and conducting interviewsAdvocate the value of Business Analysis to Business and Technology stakeholders, and build a shared understanding of the BA role in the organizationEstablish an effective peer coaching structure within the team to help grow more junior BAs and encourage BAs to find their nicheEnsure that BAs are supported and coached when taking on assignments in new line of business, new level of project complexity, new project delivery methodology, BAs joining the team, and transition plans are in place for swapping resources in in-flight projectsEnsure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC goalsManage performance through regular coaching discussions, while providing transparency on where the employees are at from a ratings perspectiveWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:Experience providing coaching and support to Business Analysts in the areas of requirements planning, analysis and documentation, requirements management and supportProven experience working as a Senior BA, in various delivery methodologies such as Agile and IterativeAdvanced knowledge and proven experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimationAdvanced knowledge and proven experience in requirements analysis and documentationAdvanced knowledge and proven experience in requirements communication and communication – requirements walkthroughs; scope and change management; traceability; configuration management, Backlog ManagementNice-to-have:Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute – Professional in Business Analysis (PMI – PBA) CertificationMasters Certificate in Business AnalysisWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
